Well, not sure I've blogged about my happenings with my car, but here it goes. Last Thursday (on Russ' birthday) I was backing out of my garage to pick up Chinese and CRUNCH!!! I totally broke off my passenger side rear view mirror. Yup, not just bent it back, crushed it and broke it OFF!
Today, totally hit the curb coming out of the parking garage at work! Minor damage your thinking right?!? Nope...apparently I cracked the tire, bent the rim and did some damage to a rear arm thingy. What the HECK!!! I swear if one more thing happens with the car (which I know it will because these things happen in 3's) its outta here. Now, I have to admit I'm the one who was driving, but come on. The snow plowing people were parked in the drive way probably watching (and laughing) at me as this happened. Hello...grab a shovel and get this icy snow crap off the drive and I wouldn't have slid into the dumb curb! Aghhhh....
Sorry, I'll calm down but not the thing you want to have happen on Christmas Eve Eve. Allison, I'm so sorry you had car issues too. Not fun. But we can be thankful no one was hurt.
So, now I'm awaiting the dreaded phone call with the estimate of how much it'll be to fix my car. Boo...no Christmas presents for me this year, I've been naughty (as Avah would say). :(
