Santa came to Pat's on Friday and all the kids, well most of the kids sat on his lap. Benn thought he was pretty cool sitting on Santa's lap, however big sister Avah was still apprehensive. But that didn't keep her from telling him she wanted a horse for Christmas! Anyway, the kids exchanged books with each other and opened gifts from Pat (our daycare provider - she's AWESOME!). It was fun day and I'm so glad I could be there.
Today it is C-O-L-D. So we're staying inside doing some cleaning and getting ready for the big Christmas dinner on Thursday. Can't wait it should be a great time with family.
Oh and since I haven't shared updates lately here's what the kids have been up to lately...
Benn has been sleeping through the night pretty regularly (not consistenly, but close) and smiling like crazy. He melts my heart every time.
Avah has been using the potty and went #2 for the first time today! Yeay one step closer to getting rid of those landfill polluting diapers! She's expanded her vocabulary and says ockets (pockets), wuv you (I love you), ba (Benn), Rick (uncle Ricky), book (uncle Brook), it dow (sit down), na na (night night) and bat (bath) to name a few.

YEA FOR POTTY!!!!!!!!!!!! I cannot WAIT to get there!!!! And that is adorable she wants a horse for Christmas... I've heard every little girl wants a pony at some point in life! She is just starting early! :)

You forgot "naunee" on Avah's vocabulary list! As in, "naunee Brook." :) We got such a kick out of her on Friday. So glad we could get together!
