Well, I survived...thanks to some great friends, an awesome daycare, and a supportive husband. The day started off crazy of course. Trying to get myself, two kids and a husband out the door by 7am is not an easy feat. But we did it. Benn is such a great baby, he just fits into our lives perfectly. Avah on the other hand decides what we do, when we do it and how we do it. But thats her personality (a miniature version of myself) and I love her for it. Leaving Benn was hard, but he was sleeping when I left so he had no clue. I was just worried that when he woke up he wouldn't know anyone and be sad. But Avah was there and from what I hear, she was a very protective big sis.
Once Russ and I got to work, time flew by. First I had a ton of emails to catch up on, then I did some catching up with a few friends at work and before I knew it, it was lunch time. The girls (Kathy & Chrystal) and I went out for a nice relaxing lunch to Kibby Cobb market. Fun fun fun. When we got back, we had a meeting then it was time to go home. Huh...if only everyday could be this nice.
When we picked up the kids, Pat (our daycare provider) said Avah was super protective. She even pushed a girl down who leaned in to give Benn a kiss! Don't get me wrong, I don't want Avah going around pushing kids, and I definitely want Benn to be able to make lots of friends, but it was sort of sweet that she didn't want to share her little brother. Agh...how I'd love to be a fly on the wall and see how the kids act when I'm not around.
So, today is almost over and I'm glad. Time for bed. I hope I get some sleep. :)

I thought about you all day yesterday! (well not all day but you know what I mean:) Glad the day went well. I know you know, like me, that it will get easier as the days and weeks go on and you get into a routine. I can only imagine what it's like with 2 kids and a hubby all trying to get out the door in the morning...without forgetting something! haha
