What a busy, fun day. We started out doing usual Saturday a.m. shopping - usually, Meijer for essentials and Target for odds and ends. Then, both kids took long naps and when they woke up, we painted pumpkins. I wish I had a pic to share, but Russ got everything on video and I completely forgot to take pictures until both kids were stripped down and running around wild because they didn't want me to clean them up.
Finally, Russ went to a party tonight so the kids and I met up with the Parrott's at the mall for some early trick-or-treating. It was fun, we did 2 laps around the mall and Avah got a bucket full of candy. Long story short, she just went to bed at 10pm! Way too much sugar. But it was nice, the kids got some extra use out of their costumes, and since it was inside, we avoided the rain and cold. There were a lot of kids there, so I still have my fingers crossed that we don't catch the flu. Here's some pic's of the kids in their costumes.
