This has been a fun weekend...so far, and with a bridal shower tomorrow for our future sister-in-law, it promises to keep getting better. Friday, Russ wanted to go to the WHS football game. It was homecoming and since we celebrated 10 years of being out of HS, he thought it would be fun to go. I would've shared in his excitement if it weren't for the fact that it was rainy and chilly out. So, I stayed home with Benn and baked up a storm for the shower on Sunday and Avah insisted on going with Russ. Since it was crummy weather I told Avah she could go, but she had to wear her coat and hat. This is her all decked out and ready to go to the game.
Today, we went to Adam's Farm market to get pumpkins, squash, and other good things to eat. We picked out some good pumpkins check them out...

The kids had fun and Avah picked out some smaller pumpkins for her and Benn. They're going to paint theirs while Russ and I carve the bigger ones. I thought 1 large pumpkin would be enough, but Russ insisted that we have a pumpkin family, so we got big ones and 2 small ones for the kids. I'll try to post a pic after we carve them.
All this cold weather and pumpkin hunting reminds me...I really need to get my halloween decorations out. I'll add it to my to-do list for tomorrow. :)
