Weekend Wrap Up...

Aghhh, the weekends. I hate to see them end. Friday was relaxing - we just stayed home, gave the kids a bath ate leftovers (which is a rare occurance in our house) and lounged in our jammies. Saturday I had to judge in Sturgis. Blahhh, it took forever and I didn't get home until after 6pm! After I got hom my brother and his wife invited us over for dinner and we ate them out of house and home. They made a scruptious mexican lasagna with veggies and my mom made pineapple upside down cake. We ate a TON. Today (Sunday) was probably my fav - no offense Matt and Amber - because we spent all day together which is a big deal since I've been judging so much. The kids had baths again and breakfast, then Avah got bundled up and "helped" daddy shovel the deck (Matt did you get the 20 inches shoveled off yours yet?). Ohhh. and the best part was that I got to take a 2 hour nap when the kids napped! If you know me, this doesn't usually happen. I'm too high strung and can usually find something that needs to be folded, cleaned, or put away - anything other than sit down and rest let alone sleep. After we woke up, G and G Gaston came over for dinner (pizza and wings) and we watched some football.

Now that's what I call a weekend.
