I’m so excited I can barely contain my enthusiasm. Tonight is Avah’s first night of gymnastics and she is just as psyched as I am. Today when we dropped her off to daycare she said “mommy, afer Pat’s pick me up go nastics!” Translated, this means after daycare at Pat’s, you’re going to pick me up then we get to go to gymnastics. How adorable is she?!
Now, I’ve promised myself I won’t push any particular sport onto my kids. But Russ and I were both in multiple sports growing up and want our kids to be involved in some type of activity. Now that Avah’s 2, we’ve been wanting her to try some type of swimming or dance. So when we heard our neighbor (who was a gymnast also) was taking her daughter (Avah’s BFF) to gymnastics, we HAD to sign up. I'm waiting to see if she likes the class before I go all out and buy her a leotard but she's already said she wants a pink one with sparkles. :)
I’m planning on taking my camera, so hopefully I’ll get some cute shots, but the class is only 30 minutes so there probably won’t be much time for pictures. I’ll let ya’ll know how it goes.
