So, not much is going on at the Gaston house. Things have been relatively quiet and I think Russ and I are actually getting the hang of this whole doing nothing thing. Maybe we just needed football season to start up? The last few nights we've stayed home (meaning we didn't go out to eat) and been bums so tonight I'm thinking I need to be productive. We'll see...
I need to clean my house (not sure why I bother cleaning with 2 kids) and plan a meal for Friday (for our monthly scrapbooking party at our house). Any suggestions for meals? I'm racking my brain and all that sounds good to me today are soups and casseroles and I'm thinking more along the lines of quick and easy (semi healthy) for the party.
On another note, I think we're planning on going to the Fall Festival this weekend. We wanted to go last year, but Benn was only a week old and I didn't feel up to all the walking. This year, my cousin and I are volunteering at the "Taco Tent" and it should be fun (cross your fingers that we have good weather!) . If you've never been, consider going. Its free admission, lots of fun for the kids, plus there's a beer tent and football for the adults. You can't beat it!
