Very Patriotic

I know...it is the 8th of July and I'm just getting to posting about the 4th. We had a blast last weekend. No initial plans, but it still turned out to be a great time. We got to watch the fireworks with Cory & Melissa and their little guy Brody. The kids really enjoyed seeing the colors, but Avah thought they were a little "noisey".

Saturday, we had a BBQ at our house with my parents. I dressed the kids up in their holiday apparel and spend the day shopping (mostly grocery shopping) with Avah.

Sunday, we finally went to church (after not having been in 2 or 3 weeks...yikes!). Russ didn't have a softball game because of the holiday so we did some yard work and hung out for the rest of the day.
