Well, Benn had his 2 month check up yesterday and unfortunately needed his first set of vaccinations. Being the stellar mom that I am (I've been forgetting EVERYTHING lately!), I forgot about the shots and didn't give the poor kid any tylenol before his appt. He needed 3 pokes containing a total of 5 vaccines. He screamed in horror, louder than I've ever heard before and istant crocodial tears started rolling down his face. So, I too started welling up with tears. Needless to say, it wasn't a great day. We came home and spent the rest of the day snuggling on the couch until I had to go to my gymnastics meeting (which was in Lansing) at the exact same time mother nature decided to send a snow blizzard our way. I almost took it as a sign that I shouldn't go because all I wanted to do was stay home with my babies and hubby that I haven't seen much of since deer camp was last weekend, but dragged myself to the meeting anyway. After battling through another blizzard on the way home and going only 25 mph on 127, I got home just in time to put the kids to bed and watch a little Jon & Kate Plus 8 (LOVE this show!)with Russ.
Today Benn is feeling much better and I'm hoping for a nice queit evening at home with my little family, but we'll see...

Aww, look at all the bandaids - poor baby! Glad you made it home safely from Lansing.
Poor Benn :( I hate it when Maeve has to get shots- I cry every single time!
And about the gym meeting? I was thinking the same thing- like it was a sign not to go! And how did you like all the freaking people raising their hand asking the dumbest questions??? I was like "PUT YOUR HAND DOWN PEOPLE!!!"
Anyways, hope Benn feels better! Have I told you lately that I am DYYYYYYING for another baby??? hah :) i think I have- everytime I read your blog I want another little one sooooooooo bad!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
