Old McAvah Had a FARM...

E-I-E-I-O. Well its that time of year again...yup, JCFair time. Now I have to admit, I haven't been to the fair in YEARS, and wasn't planning on going this year. Why would we want to expose our child to the germs, dirtiness and otherwise "rif raf" (as my mother-in-law calls it) that frequents the Jax County fair? I'll tell you why...ANIMALS. Avah loves animals. She got to see AND pet horses, sheep, chickens, rabbits and more. We went early Sunday morning, the first day of the fair before the rides and carnies were set up. It was actually really nice. Grandma and grandpa Gaston came with which was a HUGE help because we shared turns carrying AVAH. While she is walking now we wanted to avoid an accidental step, trip or fall into horse droppings. It worked out really well and a good time was had by all.

This was a newborn lamb that Avah got to pet. It was only 4 days old, but was the same size as Avah!

Grabbing some carnival food before heading home for a nap...sleepy girl!
