A Thanksgiving Tribute

I feel the need to pay tribute to this Thanksgiving holiday.  Not only because I've got more to be thankful for than what I feel I deserve, but because there's so much hype about black Friday shopping. Don't get me wrong, I'm a shopper and will be up before dawn, in line, trying to get my hands on some awesome deals, but I feel like we're rushing thru today to get to tomorrow.  So, this is my time to sit back and reflect on all that I'm thankful for...

As traditions go, after sleeping in we watched the Macy's day parade as a family (while enjoying some mimosas, of course!).  Then shortly after, we packed up and headed to Russ' parents house for dinner with the family.  Its always nice being able to enjoy dinner and not have to all the cleaning, cooking and entertaining, so I especially appreciate that Johnene loves to host although I might muster up the courage to host a holiday dinner next year. :)

Now, we're lounging at home, Benn fell asleep at 6pm and Russ and I are watching a Christmas movie with Avah.  The house is quiet and peaceful.

At the top of my list of things to be thankful for this year are these two blessings.

I'm also VERY thankful for my new niece and nephew, Evie and...

Luke!

I have a laundry list of other things I'm thankful for, but they all seem trivial compared to these 4 miracles.  This has been one amazing year.  Thank God for all of our blessings that are too many to list, but that we are non the less thankful for.
