Boys will be BOYS

Benn had some friends spend the night last night.  Avah was having a slumber party of her own at a friends house so our house was full of boys only (well except for me, oh and the dog too!)  The house was fun, full of excitement, and felt like a world championship dodgeball match.  :)

We had fun, and I even learned a few things.

Things I learned from the BOYS...

-The words toot, poop, butt and burp all ignite a fury of uncontrollable laughter.
-Boys like to change their clothes as much, if not more often than girls.
- I need to seriously consider getting a third football helmet, hockey stick and basketball. (3 boys and only 2 of the aforementioned items doesn't work well).
-They have two modes...high speed and off. :)
-They don't cry when they fall down, bonk heads, or hit each other, but the tears flow when one buddy tells another "you're meany."
-They make a mess, but really only play with 3 toys...baseball, football and hockey.
-They love hugs, cuddling, and are sensitive at night (when you can get them to sit still).

Here are a couple of pictures of our fun-filled night...

One of the 3 main activities of the night. They dressed themselves. Notice Benn's jersey is on backwards because he wanted his number to be in the front like Kellen's. :)

Kellen was in Avah's room playing by himself for a while and came out with these bracelets on.  Too cute!

Resting by 8pm.  Actually this only lasted about 30 minutes then it was back to wrestling and playing tackle.

I'm thankful that we had a house full of BOYS and that they allowed me to join in on a lot of their fun.
