Father's day poem

The plan is to take Russ to the Tigers game tomorrow. He doesn't know and somehow I've managed to keep it a surprise. But because I ordered the tickets by phone and have to pick them up at Will Call, I've been wracking my brain trying to figure out a way to tell him we're going to the game in a creative, surprising, and meaningful sort of way. So, I enlisted Avah's help (she mostly just listened) and this is what we have so far...

We're your little cubs,
We wouldn't have it any other way.
Cause every time we play,
You brighten up our day.

Because you're so great,
Today you should relax & have fun.
We're taking you to a Tiger's game,
Because we love you a ton.

We got you really great seats,
In the shaded Tiger's den.
We think you deserve it,
Love, Avah and Benn.

What do you think? I know, its mediocre at best, but I think he'll like it. Russ is never one to get real excited or upset about anything and he'll probably say something like, "oh, thanks" or, "thats neat." I'm hoping for a little more than that, but I'll take what I can get.

Hope all the father's out there get to enjoy being with the people they love and doing the things they love tomorrow.
