The other weekend my mom, Russ and I took the kids to Hagar park (thanks to my SIL for the great suggestion) for a day of fun in the sun. Its an annual ritual of ours to make it to the lake at least once per year, although we usually go to South Haven or Grand Haven. Its usually spur of the moment because we never know what the weather will bring but this day was perfect! My mom's been going thru a lot lately (still trying to absorb the cancer news) and feeling a bit sluggish from the first round of chemo. BUT...a day of fun in the sun was just what the dr ordered so we packed up and headed to this amazing spot. Here are some shots of our fun...
There was an awesome play structure for the kids to play on. (Russ and I enjoyed some fun climbing too!)
