Beginning to feel like Christmas

Our neighbors invited us to the Christmas parade downtown tonight and we had a blast. I thought the loud sirens and fire trucks would scare the kids, but they couldn't have been more it. Benn loved all the flashing lights and trucks. Avah loved seeing all the characters (pooh, tiger, frosty, etc) and of course Santa. She was a little startled when the fire trucks came by, but then a marching band came and she started dancing in her seat. It was so cute.

On another note, and probably more exciting, Russ' dad Bob is finally home. His flight got in this morning. He got to see the kids a lot and we're planning on spending time with him tomorrow. Because he's only home for 3 weeks and won't be home for Christmas, we're celebrating it during Thanksgiving. So its really starting to fell like Christmas around here. Now it just needs to SNOW!!!
