Aghhh...what a busy week. We're SO looking forward to the weekend. We have some plans, but everything is in town and we're looking forward to spending most of our time at home relaxing, which if you know me, that really means laundry (with the kids, Avah likes to unfold everything we fold), housework (Benn chases after the vacuum like its a race car), and probably some yard work too (while the kids playing outside). What's relaxing about that you ask? Everything to me. I get to spend time with my family, I get things accomplished, and I even a little exercise if I push myself.

Since I'm giving updates, I don't want to forget about Russ. He's been doing lots of things around the house (installing a door from our garage to the back yard, putting shelves up in the garage). We've wanted to do these things for a long time, but finally have the motivation...Benn's birthday party, which we're planning on having at our house in a few weeks (4 to be exact!).
Tonight is scrapbooking night with the girls. I hate to admit this, but its been almost 7 months since I've scrapbooked! Geesh...I guess I have been busy. With Avah's book, I pretty much kept up the pace up until her 1st birthday. Poor Benn, I've only scraped the first 2 months of his life and the poor kid is amost 1! So, as you can see, I'm hoping to get a lot done tonight. Ohh, and spend time with a friend of mine who just had baby #2(congrats Laura, Reece is adorable!).
Comletely off subject, but probably more interesting than what's going on with me, are updates on the kids. So here are some tid bits.
Here's Bennett hanging out in the swing - he was very content just taking in the scenery.

This is probably the happiest I've seen Benn in the grass. Usually he's not too fond of the stuff, but on this day, he liked it.

Bennett has been crawling for about a month now, he says "mmmmma, mmmmmma" which I translate to be Ma, Ma and melt everytime he says it (even when he's screaming). He's fascinated by tall things and loves to knock blocks, cups or anything else you can stack over (Avah has been surprisingly patient with this new found interest). He still has only 2 teeth (his bottom middle two), but we're pretty certain that he'll be getting more soon because the amount of drool he puts out each day is unbelievable. More teeth mean more food, so he's been eating more table food like waffles, fruit, grilled cheese, pasta, yogurt and popsicles (on a stick!). He's a pro at drinking from a sippy cup (something his sister didn't master until about 14 months old). His favorite toys right now are his miniature Detroit Tigers baseball bat and ball. We found the set at Toys R Us for $5 and he plays with it everyday! He'll just crawl around with the bat trying to whack things (cute and funny now, but I can see it being dangerous and destructive in the future).
Avah talks nonstop everyday, all day (as her aunt and uncle discovered last night at dinner!). She loves playing with Benn but gets upset when he takes her toys or sippy cup. She still gets excited to see horses and the music truck (aka the ice cream truck). Her favorite toys are her baby dolls (dressing, undressing, changing diapers, I can't keep up). Some of her favorite sayings include:
-"I do it self!" meaning I'll do it myself
-"Mommy do it" when its time to brush her teeth & get ready for bed
-"I big girl"
-"Benny!"
-"I Two Gammas" meaning I have 2 grandmas
-"I go work too?"
-"Go Gigers, hit dat ba!" while watching baseball, she'll say this meaning go tigers, hit that ball (its so cute-her daddy taught her that)
