As I mentioned in my earlier post, we had a busy weekend. First, we (the 4 of us) went to the zoo. We were planning on going with some friends (we'll definitely reschedule Brody!) but didn't work out and we decided to go anyway. I have to admit, it was a little weird going with just the 4 of us. I just realized this past week that we rarely do things with just our family. We're always inviting someone else to go with. Last time we made the zoo trip we went with our neighbors and good friends the Bulgriens, and it was a blast. The kids had so much fun together that we were wondering if we should still go. But we did and the kids still had a great time! We just strolled the park and took our time. Saw what Avah wanted to see (which was everything) and Benn was a trooper and stayed awake until the very end.

Sunday was full of excitement too when we went to watch the Tiger's! They won too! We unfortunately didn't get to see the grand slam home run at the end of the 8th inning because we were in line so Avah could run the bases after the game. It was completely worth it though because the look on her face as she rounded first base was priceless. I don't have those pics uploaded yet, but I'll post soon. Here's what I do have of the game.
