Baby teeth AND molars Oh MY!

Another successful trip to the dentist! Avah had her 2nd ever dentist appointment today. Not a huge deal, but it means she’s getting to big. One of her 2 year molars have started to poke thru (her top left to be exact, which is a little unusual since the bottom teeth usually come thru first, but the doc says its ok). She was a bit apprehensive while having her teeth examined, but as soon as she saw the stickers and got to pick out a toy for being a good girl, she was loving the dentist. We got back to daycare and the first thing she told everyone was, “I go dentist!” She was so excited!

Benn (poor kid) is teething also. His little gums are swollen and red and nothing seems to make him feel better except for lots of lovin from mom and dad. This has been going on for a good week now. Jeesh, when will it end? We’ve tried everything from cool teething rings, baby Orajel, Tylenol, teething tablets, you name it we’ve tried it.

On the home front, Russ is officially done with Baseball!!! Yeay! Can you tell I’m excited? Last night we stayed home, ate dinner together (this is a huge deal at our house!), went for a walk with our neighbors, then ended the night by watching the Tiger’s on TV. It was a great night.

Other random news…
- I got a new camera. So stay tuned for soon to be (hopefully great) pictures.
- We’re planning a trip to the U.P. in June. Can’t wait to see little Vienna again (she’s my friend’s (from college) little girl. We haven’t been away for a vacation since before Benn was born, so we’re looking forward to it.
- Russ’ dad is in Iraq. He’s working on big trucks and equipment over there. He loves his job, but living conditions aren’t great (no internet, no cable, and the nearest phone is ½ a mile away). Hopefully the next 5 months will fly by for him.

Well, I think that’s about it for today.
