Oooohhhhhh Baby!

I was tagged by my great momma friend Ashley :) Thanks I lOVE these things!

1.Where were you when you first found out you when you found out you were pregnant? At my house early one morning.
2.Who was with you? I took the test solo, but my brother was home with me so when the test read positive I had to have him tell me it was positive because I couldn't believe it.
3.How did you find out? An at home prego test (probably generic brand I can't remember).
4.What was your first reaction? Total excitement, Stunned it happened so fast, and a little anxiety about being a mom.
5.What was your husbands reaction? Well...Russ wasn't home...he had just left for a week long vaca with his family to Tennessee! When I did get to tell him he was SO excited he said "Really!" I said "Yes" and he picked me up and spun me around. So I had to keep it a secret until then. Actually, I will confess.
6.Who was the first person you told? I like to think Russ was the first, but since he was WAY out of town and I didn't want to tell him that sort of thing over the phone, because I wanted to see his reaction... the first people to know were the guy at subway who was making my sub, the greater at Meijer, and I think another stranger too! I couldn't help it, I was totally psyched but wanted Russ to be the first one I told. A week is a looooong time when you have news like that.
7.Were the pregnancies planned? The first was planned, the second was a BLESSING! :)
8.Was everyone happy for you? Absolutely!
9.What is the sex? Girl first, boy second.
10.Did anyone throw a baby shower for you? Actually we had baby showers for both! We are really fortunate to have such great friends and family
11.If yes who came?Family, friends and coworkers.
12.Did you get any outfits you knew you wouldn't use? Actually I was sort of naive and though we'd use everything, however Avah was an eating machine and grew out of most of her 0-3 month clothes before we had a chance to use them!
13.How much weight did you gain? Ummm...only 24lbs with Avah and 22lbs with Benn. I know, I can't believe it myslef!
14.Did you get stretch marks? NO thank goodness
15.Did you crave anything crazy? Of course - grapefruit and milkshakes with Avah, ice cream and meat with Benn.
16.Who or what got on your nerves the most? Heartburn, and total strangers insisting on sharing their birthing stories. NOT COOL.
17.Where were you when you went into labor? I was induced at Allegiance Hospital both times. It was great..I'm a total planner so knowing when they were going to be born was awesome.
18.Did you have any complications? None at all, I had amazing labors. The second was even better than the first. Induced at 8am, had Benn by 11:08am! Can't ask for much more than that.
19.Did your water break? Only because Dr. Farhat intervened and broke it artificially.
20.Who drove you to the hospital? Russ and Matt when I was induced with Avah and just Russ when I was induced with Benn.
21.Did you go early or late? Avah was 2 days late and Benn was a week early.
22.Who was in the room? Only Russ, my hubby.
23. Did you videotape it? Absolutely not. Don't get me wrong, I love watching a baby story, I just don't want to see myself in labor...I'm guessing it would not be pretty.
24.Did you have any pain medication? Yes, the great epidural both times...worked like a charm.
25.Did you have a c-section or natural?Natural, with lots of medication.
26.What was your reaction to the birth? So happy, moved to tears, and exhausted, but on a complete adrenalyn rush.
27.How big was the baby? Avah was 7lbs, 8 oz and Benn was 6lbs 14 oz.
28.Did your husband cry? I don't think so, but definitely teary eyed.
29.When is the next one coming? Probably never! I think we're done. We have one of each, both healthy, can't ask for anything more.
30.If you could would you do it all over again?Without a doubt, absolutely!
