Today the BOYS spent the day at the baseball field. Big surprise, I know, but that meant Avah and I were going to get some quality time together. If you don't already know, I'm a planner. Since this "quality" time wasn't planned, I felt out of my element and a little frantic because I wanted to do something fun and spontaneous with her, ya know girl stuff. Well, I had to run errands this morning (your thinking Fun?...No...Spontaneous?...Nope again). But it had to be done. Since Avah was my little helper this morning, and we accomplished everything on my list, we rewarded ourselves with a little "treat" from SB.
Avah's new thing is smoothies. She likes trying new fruits and it helps that she thinks it tastes like ice cream but is healthy for you.
Later that day, we decided last minute that we would go put-put golfing (how's that for spontaneity?) :) It was our first time on the greens (although I think Russ has taken the kids to the Frosty Boy to play put-put before). She did great! We had a good time. I should mention that I didn't keep score, but if we did she probably would've beat me!
