Let's start with Avah. We are "officially" potty training! Yeay!!! Our little angel didn't walk until she was 15 months, but is a wiz (no pun intended!) and using the potty and she's not even 2 yet! She has her own potty chair and goes all by herself. Of course we ask her like every 30 minutes or so if she has to go, but sometimes she even just goes in the bathroom on her own! Today was her first potty training day at daycare and she was completely accident free day! We are so proud of her...she's really becoming a big little girl. Isn't it funny the things we look forward to when we become parents?
Avah's also been increasing her vocabulary and putting a lot of words together. Some favorites are "Daddy, doggie naughty agin", "I color too", "Mine", and "I potty mommy!" Yes, as you can tell, she's still obsessed with the dog. Last week we watched my dad's dog while he went up north so we set up the dog cage. The dog didn't like it much, but Avah had a ball pretending it was her hidout. Check out these pics! We're literally in the dog house :)

As for Benn, he's growing like crazy. Did I mention that he's been in the same size diapers as Avah for about a month now?! Agh...I swear my life revolves around diapers lately. One last mention on this topic before I leave it for good with this post (I promise). One day last week we picked the kids up from daycare and this is how we found Benn...
Poor kid! He blew out of his diaper (nice image I know...again, sorry to all the nonparents out there) and I carelessly forgot to put an extra outfit in his bag. This was all they had that fit him, so the poor kid was dressed like a girl the entire day! I thought it was hilarious. Russ says only real men wear pink, so he was ok with it too temporarily but made me change him as soon as we got home. LOL. I just had to take a few quick pics though.
Just a quick update on Valentines day. It was awesome. I went home sick on Friday with a horrible migrane, but was at work long enough to get the flowers Russ had delivered to me. How sweet! I LOVE getting flowers and Russ and I always debate about sending/receiving them. He thinks they're a waste because the die. I like them because they make me feel special and are pretty to look at. What girl doesn't like flowers...really?
Russ had a good Valentine's Day too. He got 5lbs of those gummy cherry coke bottles. We love them, and have been looking for them everywhere but no one sells them around here. So, I found them online (but the smallest quantity they sell is 5#'s - so that's what he got) and surprised him. The actual holiday, we spent at a Euchre party at my uncle's house. It was a lot of fun and Russ won 2nd place! Good job hunny!
This week is busy with meets (I have 4 in one week!) then Benn's baptism on Sunday. So, I apologize in advance for not posting a lot this week. I'll get back into my groove again soon. Thanks to all for taking such an interest in our lives. Its always nice to hear everyone's comments!
